Marshall Okell is a solo show full of Hillbilly Disco, foot-stomping good old-fashioned Aussie beer-drinking music. Swampy mojo working sounds and a lot of charismatic humour. It’s a very engaging solo show.

Psychic or sceptic, you’d be forgiven for thinking that a man born under a full moon, on a Good Friday the 13th, must have ‘something‘ to answer for. Well, Marshall Okell is certainly up to ‘something‘. As his timely arrival into the world set a precedent, there’s certainly nothing
‘ordinary‘ about it.

Marshall Okell creates a raw, honest, dirty blues sound that grabs you by the throat and then soothes you with a sweet honey-tasting musical medicine. There are pure guts, sweat and emotion in his latest material that leave you exhausted and elated in their wake.
